Weird Al!

On my way back to Minneapolis from South Dakota at the end of August we stopped in Mitchell for lunch. We decided to eat at Culvers because we were all sick of McDonald's. There was a guy sitting a couple of booths away that looked exactly like Weird Al Yankovic. I glanced at him a couple of times and I swore it really was him, but I figured it couldn't be since we were in Mitchell South Dakota, whose only claim to fame is a building covered entirely in corn. He finished his burger and went outside where a kid stopped him and had him sign something. Turns out it really was Weird Al. I ran out and had him sign my receipt and also got a picture with him. It was pretty cool. Apparently he was doing a show at the Corn Palace (the aforementioned corn encrusted building) on his way to Minnesota for a show at the State Fair. He had been staying at the hotel across the street from Culvers and decided to stop by for lunch. It was a good thing we didn't go to McDonald's that day.
